| Hello! My name is Shawn Clark. I have been racing motocross for 18 years. I train by eating, sleeping and drinking motocross. My favorite exercise is running. My favorite Kentucky track is Daniel Boone MX in London, KY. My favorite Indiana track is Podium One located in Charlestown, IN My favorite national track is Red Bud in Buchanan, Michigan. My favorite pro rider is Damon Bradshaw. My favorite amateur rider is Denny Dooley. Besides motocross, I like snowboarding and skateboarding. I also participate in Triathlons and cycling. I am currently a Sophmore in college and my favorite school subject is Ministry. My goal for 2008 is to have a healthy season. My best motocross moment has been winning the 250 Pro Main Event in the 2005-06 BooKoo Arenacross Series in St. Charles, MO. Probably one of my worst motocross moments came in 2003, when I lost a Loretta Lynn's Amateur National Championship Title by one point to Davi Millsaps. The best thing about being a rider is the relationships at the track. The hardest thing for me as a rider are the injuries. Other than my Mom and Dad, Mitch Barnes has been one of the biggest influences on Indiana and Kentucky motocross. The way he has integrated ministry into motocross is an inspiration. As I am thinking about future careers, I think I might possibly want to consider going into ministry. |
