| My name is Marshall Barnes and I am 8 years old an in the second grade. I have been racing motocross for 3 years. My favorite Kentucky motocross track is at Forest Park Church in Louisville, KY. Podium One in Charlestown, IN is my favorite Indiana racetrack. In Ohio, my favorite track is the one at FCA Camp. I also like Rolling Hills in North Carolina. My favorite amateur national track is Loretta Lynn's in Hurricane Mills, TN. James Stewart is my favorite pro rider. My Dad is my favorite amateur rider. Besides motocross, I also play basketball and football. As far as school goes, math is my favorite subject. I am on the Honor Roll at school and have earned a Chess Club trophy. One of my goals for the 2009 racing season is to finish in the top 3 regularly in the 65cc class. My best motocross moment was jumping the first whoop at Podium One in Charlestown, IN when Billy of Suspension Plus, Inc. was teaching me. My worst motocross moment was my broken leg at home. The hardest thing for me about being a rider getting the gear on. I think that the best thing about being a rider is occassionally you get to leave school early. I try to ride my dirt bike as often as possible and run a bit. My favorite exercise is running. God inspires me the most, because I know he can help me in my riding. When I get older, I would like to be a salesman. |
