| My name is Josh Bixler. I have been racing motocross for 7 years. My favorite Indiana track is Podium One in Charlestown Indiana. I like Poplar Ridge MX in Kentucky, too. I also really like to compete at Gatorback near Gainesville, FL and the NMA track at Branson, MO. I participate in basketball and baseball. I like playing video games, reading, swimming and hunting. In school, my favorite subject is math. I am a honor student with all A's in middle school. I am a member of the Academy of National Honor Students. My favorite pro rider is Travis Pastrana. My favorite amateur rider is Kevin Walker. I train by weightlifting and mountain/road bike riding. My favorite form of exercise is weight lifting. My most memorable motocross moment winning the top ten in four classes at Branson MX in 2004. My worst MX moment was breaking my back at Ballance MX in 2006. The best thing I like about being a rider is meeting others and just racing the competition. The hardest thing about being a rider is being out from injuries. I hope to finish the season with a trip to Loretta's and the Mini O's. Besides my Mom and Dad , God gives me the strength and courage to "go for it." Besides motocross, someday I would like to be an anethesiologist. I think it would be interesting to work with patients. |
