| My name is Donald Alford and I live in Russellville, KY. I have been racing 5 years.
My favorite Kentucky track is Ballance MX in Oakland, KY which is near my hometown. I also
really like Great River Road MX in Dyersburg, TN and the national amateur motocross track
in Branson, Missouri. |
| Besides motocross, I like Paintball. My favorite school subject is Algebra. My
favorite Pro Rider is James Stewart and my two favorite amateur riders are P.J. Larsen and
Tyler Bowers. I train for motocross by going to Physical Therapy twice a week for my legs.
I workout at home and train and practice at my home track. |
| I plan on competing in the 2007 Kentucky State Championship Series and to qualify for
Lorettas. I hope to go to as many national competitions as I can. My best motocross momen
was winnin the 2006 Kentucky State Championship in the 125cc Schoolboy in the East vs.
West between 800mx and Daniel Boone MX. |
| My worst motocross moment was when I was running in 8th out of 28 riders in the main
at the Branson USA National and being taken out on the last lap. Bummer! The hardest thing
about being a rider is the time it takes to become one of the best racers. |
| But it all pays off in the end. Meeting new friends, traveling all around and making
it a family event and having a great time is the best thing about being a rider. |
