Justin "Pooh" Sipes & Ryan Sipes Update
"Pooh" had orthroscopic surgery on his knee on Friday, February 6. The doctor cleaned up around his ACL. He will have his ACL repaired at a later date because he is still growing. He came through surgery fine. As of Sunday, "Pooh" was still in the hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Shelbourne (Travis Pastrana's knee surgeon) performed the surgery. The cartiledge was torn really bad and was knotted up. No soccer or basketball but can go back to racing. He was to see doctor on today (Monday morning) and hoped to be released from the hospital.

Ryan Sipes is much better. He goes back to the doctor in 2 weeks. It will be at least a month before riding again.

Update on Shawn and "Pooh"

Shawn returned to doctor. Foot looked good. Pins sticking out about 1/2' out of foot with staples down the middle of his foot. So far, so good! He will be 6-8 weeks on crutches with pins hopefully coming out in 6-8 weeks also. Then he will start therapy. He goes back to doctor on Friday, Feb.13 to have staples removed from top of his foot.

"Pooh" got home from the hospital yesterday (Monday, Feb. 9). He seems to be doing well.

Update on Shawn Clark
   Shawn had surgery on his foot on Friday, January 30, 2004. One bone was crushed into powder. The surgeon tried pinning the bones.They are hoping pins will hold so that the bones will not need to be fused. If pins hold they will remain in for 8 weeks before removal. His foot is wrapped with ace like bandage and in a velcro boot up to his knee that he has to wear at all times. He will go back to the surgeon for evaluation on pins today.
