| My name is Chris Akaydin. I have been racing motocross for eight years now. I am a Junior in high school. Art is my favorite school subject. Besides motocross, I also like Ultimate Frisbee and I participate in Soccer. I have won many state championships with my soccer team coached by my Mom. |
| My favorite Kentucky track is Ballance MX. My two favorite Indiana tracks are Paoli and Motoland. I also like Monster Mountain in Alabama. Red Bud is my favorite national track. My favorite pro rider is Ryan Sipes and Les Smith is my favorite amateur rider. |
| In my training program, I run, tone, jump rope and try to stay active in sports. I eat healthy and get mentally prepared. My favorite exercise is running. |
| My goals for 2008, are to do well enough at Loretta's to get my Pro license. My best MX moment was pulling 3 holeshots in my first A-Class outdoor race event. |
| My worst motocross moment was at the end of 2007, when I was slower then when I had started in the A class. |
The best thing about being a rider is getting to race and having fun. The hardest thing is you don't get much time to yourself.
Besides my Mom and Dad, people who never give up inspire me. Besides being a motocrosser, I would like to be a mechanical engineer so I can work on motorcycles. |
